This series of paintings explores the ever-changing light and atmosphere of the narrow sea channel between Skye and Knoydart. I often paint outdoors in all weathers and I consider this series one of my principal achievements as an artist. All the work has been sold and not every painting in the series is represented - the images shown here are of studies mostly painted between 2015 and 2017, some more recently.
